With extensive experience in complex structural projects and multi-discipline service trades, they ensure each project is executed with precision and client satisfaction.

Managing Director

Mostyn Higgs

Mostyn is a seasoned construction professional with over two decades of experience in the Tier 1 construction space. His extensive expertise spans complex structural steel erections, innovative buildability solutions, and the efficient coordination of large-scale projects. Mostyn's international experience includes significant roles in major developments across various sectors, such as commercial, healthcare, residential, mixed-use, airports, and corrections facilities. Notably, he has managed substantial projects like ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai and Bankside Yards in London, demonstrating his adeptness in overseeing intricate construction endeavours.

Throughout his career, Mostyn has been recognised for his unwavering commitment to safety. Notably, he was awarded the Outstanding Safety Representative of the Year by Multiplex for his work on the ICD Brookfield Place project in the United Arab Emirates in 2018.

Managing Director

Liam Gillott

Liam brings a wealth of knowledge with over 18 years of experience in project management and operations within the construction industry. As a Director of RAFT Building Group, Liam plays a pivotal role in delivering the company’s vision of providing innovative, refined, and personalised solutions for every project. His expertise lies in multi-discipline service trades, exceptional customer service, and fostering strong, positive team cultures.

Liam began his career as an electrical apprentice in the commercial construction industry before commencing with CV Services Group, rising from on the tools to Construction Manager over a number of years. He led a wide range of high-profile electrical projects and later served as Operations Manager in the Asset Services division. In this role, he specialised in maintaining critical infrastructure, including airports, ports, hospitals, and defence facilities, managing a turnover of $50M annually. His commitment to excellence and innovation led to the founding of a successful HVAC business, with a team which expanded to 20 within its first year.

Passionate about building meaningful relationships and cultivating a positive work culture, Liam is deeply invested in the development of both people and processes. His proven ability to optimise business opportunities, mentor teams, and implement scalable systems reflects his dedication to excellence. At RAFT Building Group, Liam’s strategic vision and people-centric approach contribute to the seamless and enjoyable project delivery experience the company is known for.
